Played for about an hour on the steering wheel (Driving Force GT) and the force feedback is on point. It's a lot more responsive than it is with Shift 2, and I can tell when the rear is loose and when it catches grip... Not only that, but without looking on the screen, you can distinctly feel the difference if you are on the road, grass or gravel just by driving straight...
Being an arcade racer, I am a bit more 'chaotic' on the steering wheel, as it's much easier to powerslide and drift on this game and i'm throwing the steering wheel left and right...

I am impressed so far with this game, runs smooth - average 65 fps everything maxed out, beautiful graphics, links up with all my steam friends and shows their top lap records, and the racing experience gives me an overall 'fun' outcome... I personally think it will be easier to play on the 360 joypad as the game is heavy on the powersliding and drifting around the corners, but i'll be playing more to see which can get me the better lap times... thumb.gif

The AA seems to be broken. Doesn't matter what setting I use, I can still see a lot of jagged edges.

Hence why you use 8xMSAA.

Hey, can you share your ingame wheel settings? My dfgt is too sensitive at default setting.

is it better to use a gamepad (in my case, x360 controller) or a keyboard? the "intro" race and practice laps were not too friendly to keyboard inputs (WSAD, SPACE).

maybe my driving style in game is spoiled from NFS games? am i supposed to feather the keys when going a specific direction? the graphics look really sharp on default(?) or auto detected settings, though i haven't looked at what they are, yet.

at this point, i guess i am doing it wrong. this game so far looks great, but my driving ability fails to make the game feel any good.

Definitely the 360 controller with the analog joystick. You cannot play a racing game correctly with digital buttons. It's almost like trying to draw a circle with only straight lines...

Weird, to tell you the truth, I went into options and saw that it recognized the DFGT steering wheel and I remapped a few buttons but didn't change any sensitivity, or play with anything in the Logitech profiler...
It may be the same settings as you, but i'll be glad to share you my settings when I get home...

Neither can you play a racing game correctly when it forces a super high linearity and saturation, like Grid 2 does.

Can anyone tell me what the linearity and saturation setting does?
