Steering Deadzone The percent of rotation where steering is ignored. The higher this value the more you can move your wheel without it moving your car

Steering Saturation How quickly your wheel responds to your movements

Steering Linearity The amount of turn of your wheel compared to the amount of wheel turn in game. 50% is a 1:1 mapping (50%=usually 0)

Throttle Deadzone The percent of throttle that is ignored. The higher this value the more you can press on the throttle pedal without applying throttle in game

Throttle Saturation The sensitivity of the throttle pedal. Set to a lower value to reduce sensitivity. Helpful if you like to push your throttle down a long way when exiting corners, as a lower sensitivity will reduce wheelspin

Brake Deadzone The percent of brake that is ignored. The higher this value the more you can press on the brake pedal without applying the brake in game

Brake Saturation The sensitivity of the brake pedal. Set to a lower value to reduce sensitivity. Helpful if you're applying too much brake and frequently locking

Played for about half an hour and loving it. Love the graphics. Maxed out 1080p without the Intel only settings. Hitting min FPS of 57. Happy. Grid is back baby yeah!

I'm really surprised that the general consensus is that it's a really good game...

I read a review and a video play through that made it seem decent (in no way bad).. Might reconsider it in summer if it's on sale and if it's reviewed well...

I like it a lot so far. Not sure what the people who rated it on Metacritic expected it to be.

Been playing for around an hour with G27 and it's just horrible, I'm a sim nut but still just wanted some easy going racing. Well with the wheel I find it a painful and frustrating experience, with the keyboard I can waste very hard AI but with the wheel can't even keep up on hard.

Also there is no clutch deadzone options, can't believe they implemented the clutch support but no deadzone options, each race I have to battle to change gear. It's like GT5 where they fully screwed up the clutch support. This is a game where I'll just cruise and enjoy the car sounds/graphics.

EDIT: Have tweaked steering settings some and it's slightly better now lol...

I really wish there was more customization of the cars, graphics are great, the maps are fun, and from what i got unlocked the car selection is decent, but there's almost zero customization, besides changing your rims, painting the car, and have to put stupid sponsor logo's all over your car so it looks like its a hot wheels dinky car.

I'd love a NFS Underground 3 with these graphics ( or better rolleyes.gif ) thumb.gif
