I'm still holding off playing it until all the patches are out and the XML wizards have worked their magic on textures, handling/grip, cockpits etc...

This is one of those games for the future tongue.gif (Like how i just started L.A. Noire yesterday biggrin.gif)

congrats. i feel the same with the drifting events not as fun as i hoped. i am almost done too. been on the last season since two days ago, just haven't wanted to play but on steam i am sitting at 28hrs of gameplay so far that includes some split-screen with a friend and then a couple online matches.

Drifting in the first game was fantastic and fun. Drifting in Grid 2 is a chore. And dumb in the single-player mode, thanks to the fact that the AI CARS DON'T DRIFT. They just treat the damn thing like a normal race and crash into you (ruining/cancelling your drift score). Yet they somehow score near-perfect runs at each drift marker.

EDIT: And now the game just crashes at random times for me. Just started today. It's crashed 4 times in the past 4 hours.

Time to write a mod-tool for GRID2 as well.

In MP or SP? Make sure you never use the 'Spectate' feature in MP, it's a guaranteed CTD.

Im getting weird graphic artifacts on my ATI card. Happens when I crash into the side of anything or just crashing in general.
