My computer wont power on

Thread Starter
Last night i noticed i got bllue BSOD 3 times in one day. Didnt think much of it so i just decided to sleep then. But now today when i start the computer it powered on, the fans were running and hdd running but then it shuts off again

sorry didnt remember the exact error i got

i tried resetting mobo to factory settings but to no avail. Tried unplugging the power cable for 20 minutes but it always happends the same thing. it only powers up for 3 seconds before it powers down again.

Im not sure which hardware compononent is at fault here

Do you have integrated graphics? Or another CPU? If you have an integrated GPU uou should try using that to eliminate graphics card failure. Also try plugging everything in again.

I would try reseating the memory mate. This in the past has worked for me and don't ask me how memory becomes dislodged. It's weird I know but in my case it fixed it. Good luck.thumb.gif

It seems that it could be a CPU issue, since your fans are running and you are getting power. Are the fans running smoothly or slowing down/speeding up?

it runs at a constant speed for a while 3-4 seconds but then it shuts down again but it however then try to powers up again for a brief 1 second before it shuts for a second time
