quote for truth! super annoying this DPI race thats totally useless.

The thing is the sensor is great outside buggs and ofc the stupid acceleration built in.
Technically speaking its way way way above what 3090 can handle, outside dpi that is.

But its the same with avago 9500 vs 3090.

Then again as some say I would prefer 3090 aswell, since I use max 1000dpi, and dont reach the max speeds on most mice as it is.

Marketing knows best what will sell! Or do they? I mean, aren't the Razer Deathadder and the Logitech G400 (both optical in all their versions) the most-sold gaming mice? Isn't the success of Zowie with its all-optical lineup a pretty clear indication of what gamers actually want (and are willing to pay for)? One has to wonder what goes on in those heads.

You won't know man ... i wouldn't pay G400s money for an optical. I rather pay a little bit more for a laser.
They just buy what they see the "pros use". And then follow suit thinking they can be a pro as well ... Well when i was young i was nearly induced into that marketing scheme. That's why i'm now here or else i would be gaming all my life trying to find out why won't i become a "pro overnight" tongue.gif

I don't get it? Why would you wanna pay more for a laser at the current state of things?

Well, the acceleration thing is pretty important when you're making a so-called gaming mouse since the accuracy should be the most basic and important part to get right. It's like marketing a car as a street legal rally car but it turns out the handling sucks. But it has a killer quarter mile time!

I think he meant that's what most consumers buy into.

But you would pay that much for an inferior product because it says "laser" on the package? Why?
