[Help] Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP7 (1155) or GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI (2011)?

Hello everyone, i hope you can give me a hand with a few questions i have smile.gif
Currently in my country (Argentina) we are having lots of troubles, thanks to our president. Everyday our currency is losing it's power so we don't know tomorrow how much dollars it will cost.
Thats why i want to invest all my money into making a good pc for all kind of use, gaming or using it as a server, so that if any happens i can sell it in a future and recover my money.

I am in this big issue, what do you recommend?:
1) A gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP7 with an intel i7-3770k micro
2) A gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI with an intel i7-3930k micro

I have been searching a little and they have a lot in common (for example the onboard bluetooth + wifi that is something that make me choose betweeen this two) but also have huge differences such as the SAS connectors that the x79s has.
If i want to put one HDD and one blu-ray drive i have automatically use both SATA 6gb/s that the x79 has (I know there are HDD with SAS connectors but here there is like a 300% difference in prices between them).
Also, 3 Gb/s SAS is better or worse than 6 Gb/s SATA?

Please, if you could help me decide i would really appreciate it!
Any more information you know about this mothers or any other ones that have onboard bluetooth and wifi and can compete with this,is more than welcome.

Thank you very much smile.gif

in the case of the built in sas controller on X79 it really is just meant for HDDs, it wont allow the total bandwidth for 8 SATA6GB/s devices to be noticed correctly.

IMO Z77 is a more pain-free platform, if you only have two drives you can get the UP7 without issues. However Z77 is about to be replaced and X79 will still be around a little longer, so maybe X79.
