Decisions, decisions...

Hey, everybody. I have a bit of an dilemma(first world problem really), I'm planning to do a project this summer (or after) and
I have a problem deciding, what kind of build i'm going to do(I don't know if this belong to this sub-forum, but anyways.)

So, these are the options

1. I watercool my current rig (sig). I was thinking something like 360 + 240 (or 360 if it fits),
after modding of course. This choice would make smallest impact in me finacially (if i don't add a second card biggrin.gif )

2. I build a rig inside prodigy. I know it's used way too much and "everybody" is doing the same with it,
but i have a insane idea what to do with it, well, lets just say its RAD! thumb.gif
And it includes a LOT of modding, literally i will strip it so only the frame remains biggrin.gif . This would take almost all my money, because of the motherboard change.

3. I make sff pc with node 304. This idea i got from Nuzart's Node Project
and it would be almost exact copy, which makes this one "not so great choice", because i don't want to copy people, but we'll see. Same thing in money side as number two rolleyes.gif

Now the problem here is that i love small form factor pcs, i like that i can put a lot of horsepower in small size. In the other hand, i don't get the expandability that i get in atx.
I know the obvious compromise would be matx, but i cant find any great case that has room for decent watercooling. rolleyes.gif

I'm very picky and i hate it, but i have to live with it so... tough. Now can you guys or gals direct me to the righteous path of OCN and tell me what would be best choice.
You can throw some other ideas at me as well (i can take the hit biggrin.gif )

If you want a mATX case with room for watercooling, Case Labs is coming out with their S5 soon.

You didn't post a price range, and I assumed that when you were talking about "insane modding" that wasn't gonna be cheap. biggrin.gif

Yeah sorry about that, it would seem atm that i have 8-900 € to use and if i go m-itx then i would get 200 € board so i can get decent overclock biggrin.gif
And about that modding, i would probably use scrap metal or something so that's cheap and i wont need that so much because something else is filling all the huge caps wink.gif

And no matter what the case is the watercooling is going to cost 400 to 550ish

Would love to use as little as i can, but can't have anything you want, right?

Looks like i'm going with choice number one, because i can't mod prodigy like i wanted and it would go way over my level of skills if i wanted to mod it properly redface.gif
well that was quick, but maybe i'll change my mind and try something impossible.
