I hope the XBox One is around $500USD so about $550-$599AUD
I will be getting both, but all of you have forgotten some of the other costs for people.
*Xbox One or PS4
*New headset, current headsets are NOT compatible (atleast confirmed for Xbox one.)
Game Capture device as currant devices dont work, the HDMI ones might, unless HDCP is turned off on the Xbox for gaming(unlikely as XBox is pushing media so HDCP will probably be on ), but PS4 is a no go for game capturing just like the PS3 was (at least when recording externally)
*New premium controller, i use a scuff controller as it gives me an advantage in games.
*Xbox live subscription, i have already paid mine of for the next 2 years so i dont have to worry that much about this.
*PSN subscription, if you honestly think Sony will offer multiplayer for free again, you are going to get a big surprise at E3. Sony is a business and needs the $$$. estimates put Xbox live at around $1-$1.25 billion USD in the last few years. at least half or a quarter would be profit.
so i am looking at around $2000-$2500 for both consoles and above accessories. and i am sure IB-E will come out around the same time to sting me another $1000.
and MSI lighting GTX 780(if it is going to be produced) probably be $800 or more. at least in my country. The price of being a hardcore gamer aye.
