I'm starting to suspect M$ have a big insurance policy to cash in if the Xbox one tanks.

Seems it also means £600 = 600 EUR = $600 ( Yeah I don't think I have an Euro key biggrin.gif ) They make far more off of EU sales than they seem to off of US sales =(

Why would anyone outside of USA want Xbone any ways?

It's an HTPC that only works in USA...

It's also an always-on PRM (Physical Rights Management) box with an-always on video camera.

Don't forget the IE web browser. One of the best browsers in all of history.

Almost forgot it requires a subscription!

Sounds enticing.

But my point was about it being mostly a TV box.. which only USA gets.

I get that I also get the fact they want to turn this into set up box.
However like any European would buy a Xbox one just to watch tv (which one already could on available hardware) xD

What a joke. I hope this isn't true, for Microsoft's sake.

Pretty much this.

If Microsoft is going to charge that price, plus the cost of live, plus require an internet connection, plus have to buy all new accessories (controllers, headsets, etc), plus none of the XBox/XBox 360 games are backwards compatible, plus implement their pricing plan for used games ... the XBox One is DOOMED to failure.
