Rumor was Witcher 2 would have no DRM. I was ready to purchase, but got blindsided when it released with DRM, so I did not buy. The wait was not long and within a week, they announced a patch to remove the DRM and that's when I bought the game. In the end they decided DRM was not worth it and they did the right thing for the consumer.
They will get no quarter this time either. DRM will equal no sale and that goes for every company and no matter the game.
