Maps aren't the only things you get in any of these DLCs, though, right? tongue.gif

I don't ever want to fall asleep on a bus after a night out again. I will though.

" but DICE makes it clear that they were very adamant to their publisher that maps remain free in order to maintain a healthy community."

That statement frames the point perfectly.

So, either they include the content and charge £50-£60... or they keep the base game price the same and let consumers decide if they want the DLC or not.

I agree with 98uk. Also, releasing DLC differently enables to get better statistics of the game. The more the DLC sale, the more people have liked the game and the ore are the chances of it having a sequel.

Yea that is DICE's stand....but did you read the article...In the end it is up to EA...The publisher...to decide what to charge for it...

Excellent observation! That aspect supports the references that many previous post have made regarding the "milking" of the consumer.

The fact that they charged for expansion packs which included maps/weapons(Exactly what these dlc's add) in every single game kinda goes against that. Seriously, I bet if DICE released these DLC's in "expansion packs" with the exact same content and price the people complaining wouldn't have any issue simply because it wasn't called DLC.
