I'm keen to spend the money on a good custom water loop but removing a perfectly good H100 seems like a waste which is one of the main reasons i'm looking to still incorporate it.

Found this and it pretty much what i'll do with the H100 mounted behind the hard rive racks connected to the GPU and put an XSPC RX 360 radiator on the inside of my case at the top with the three fans ill get for it replacing the two Thermaltake exhaust fans under the top cover of the case (won't work the other way around with radiator on top and fans inside as this specific radiator is too think for the top cover).

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/06/18/thermaltake_chaser_mki_computer_case_review/5#.Uac1tUD-E6J

I'll clear some space in my 5.25inch bays specifically the optical drive (can't remember the last time i used that) and install the pump/reservoir there, eventually i'll add a pump/fan controller.
I've actually got a Bitfenix recon controlling my case fans although the display died and i just control it via a desktop application so ill put that into one of my 3.5inch bays.

Thanks for all the advice, if you've got any more i'd love to hear it.

Oh yeh definitely. Don't know why i didn;t think of that. When i was still running an asus striker 2, i splice my antec 620 onto the northbridge block that came on that board.

Click here for the log i did if you want to see how you would need to attach the rad onto normal tubing.

Q: Will it work?

A: Yes, but it will not be as efficient as it could be if you didn't blow the warmed air from one radiator into a second radiator.

Checked out your mod Crappy very nice, I would also have forgotten to take note of which hose sucked and blew. I also checked out the spare parts thread was a good read.

I'll have a think about incorporating the H100 into the loop as an actual component and see what i can come up with, modding the hoses like that though wouldn't be as easy because they are a ribbed design, plus i'm a bit unsure how you filled it and whether that would work for the H100, need to have another look at the AIO you used.

oh yeh those god awful ribbed hoses. You could check the outer diameter of them and see how thick it is and whether you could incorporate it in the same way.

I filled the loop using a small reservoir, the same you would any normal loop. I used this one, but i wouldn't really recommend it. Any res will work, just remember that the exit of the res needs to be above the entrance to the pump.

Sorry of course no idea what I was thinking when I read your mod, the mention of something had me thinking you had an additional barb somewhere that you were filling up with and then stopping to use as an easy drain later on. Speaking of drainage for a water cooling loop whats the best way to go about it?

Oh yeh i had no pictures pof the later stages and camera battery died. What i did was use one of the g1/4 ports on the res to fill it rather than the big filling hole, as i'd mounted it upside down.

Drainage is something thats definitely something to think about for future mainternance. caused me quite a headache when designing the loop for my full build. However where and how will depend entirely on your case and loop and the components you use. preferably though, it would be in the lowest part of your loop. fit a T-junction in the line with a valve fitting and voilà!

For drainage seeing as ill go with this pump/reservoir ill just leave myself enough tubing to bring it part way out of the case and disconnect on of the tubes from the unit.
