Bioshock Infinite build, decent or crap

Thread Starter
This is the first time I've ever built a custom PC, and while on paper it seems easy, now that I'm about to pull the trigger, I'd really like to hear some feedback. Right off the bat, FPS like Crysis and Metro are boring and I don't plan on playing them. The games I want to play are mainly Bioshock Infinite and Skyrim. So here's what I've chosen, will this be good or not:

i3-2100 CPU
H61 motherboard
4GB DDR3 RAM
EVGA GTX 660 FTW GPU
Silverstone Strider 500W PSU
Sugo SG06 case

Do you guys think this will handle Bioshock well, or will the CPU be a bottleneck? The i3-2100 is cheaper than an i5 and I don't want to spend money if it's not necessary.

I think u should really consider the i5. While it may be more expensive it will give u alot more performance for the upcoming yaers while the i3 might not last that long.

Also with Haswell around the corner maybe its an good idea to wait for them and see what their prices do.

Also tell what ur budget is. That way ppl can make alternate configurations within the price limit. (if possible ofc)

H61 is no bueno... i3 isn't bad but if you can I'd opt for a stronger CPU.

7870 (if possible the XT) would be a better option

Get an i5 3570k, it'll last you quite some time. With the new consoles on the horizon games will become much better than they currently are, and need a little more horsepower than they already do. The 3570k is only $110 more and will give you much better performance. If you are going to go for as low cost possible than you may just want to look into the new consoles. While an i3 may have cut it for this last gen I don't think it will for this next gen.
