Intel and Nvidia will keep your fingers away from Battlefield 4. AMD has purchased the rights to use the game for marketing purposes and are planning to go "all in" with Gaming Evolved and Never Settle , where Battlefield 4 will follow with select graphics cards in the Radeon series.

Now it SweClockers knowledge that AMD also plans to synchronize the release of the next generation Radeon with Battlefield 4. It's about family Volcanic Islands and the flagship Hawaii, including Meet Geforce GTX 780 and GTX Titan in the highest performance class.

In practice this means that the new graphics card in the Radeon series shows up close just around Battlefield 4, to be released on October 29 for PC

When will they release the 8000 series then? I thought they were skipping straight to the 9000 until the leak came out.

Volcanic Island is listed on AMD's roadmap as 20nm.....

But who knows, if they can get 20nm out that early then great, if not then a good GCN 2.0 is also very welcome, AMD change their minds more than I change my socks, and Nvidia's GTX 780 move here may well have prompted them to change a few things.

Wow this would be amazing. Im looking to upgrade my video card and I am leaning towards AMDs new cards coming out. I've used Nvidia all my life but the prices are getting a bit ridiculous imo.
