Looks like that is what I'm going for as they currently have the 7XX series which is the latest one. AMD doesn't have an 8XXX seies card at the moment

So if you are a hipster, go for sabertooth.
If you are not a hipster and just want a working PC, go for something else.

your saying im Hipster? .-.

Sabertooth is really overpriced for a simple plate-style full board heatsink with weak VRM...

Is there any reason to go Haswell over Ivy when you're buying a GPU?

I'd get a Kingwin Lazer platinum or Seasonic G series or X series over an Corsair HX too

These days Corsair makes the Neutron GTX SSD which is a newer tech than the Force series

People keep telling me to go Haswell over Ivy so i'll leave it at that biggrin.gif

As far as the PSU goes, I have dropped down to 650 watts as anything above that im told is overkill.

And for the SSD, its overpriced. So the Force is good enough for me.

Would the board right under sabertooth be good enough?

He's misusing the word only.. Mainstream would be more proper, since the word hipster strains from people wich are aware of what's popular but has an underlying opposition against consumerism and pros an alternative pop culture.. This sums pretty much up how not hipster the sabertooth motherboard really are tongue.gif

And anyways who gives a f*? None can determine whether you are a hipster or not by a motherboard, I personally love my sabertooth, but got sick by looking at the new sabertooth with tuf armour. Awful design..

But to op, go with your guts, It doesn't seem like you'll be oc the heck out if the CPU so ocability won't be a concern really just up to which perks you need and stay away from evga's boards thumb.gif
