I had the monitor delivered today and I've been glued to it for a few hours. I am *really* impressed with it. The colors of the IPS panel are fantastic! I do have an excellent Samsung TN panel, and the colors blow that away. I would say it has a slightly warm tint to it out of the box, but it's just fine. Everything is super sharp, and it's not obnoxiously over-saturated.

I would say this was a huge step up from my 27" Samsung 1080p. The extra screen space mixed with the much higher resolution is a win. I can't see any dead pixels.

The thing I was most worried about was the response time and 60hz limit. Coming from a 120 hz Samsung, I can say that I did notice it a little bit in games and 2d. After a couple of hours, it's not even an issue. The pros far outweigh the cons. I played some MechWarrior Online and BF3 and I didn't notice any lag from the 7ms response time (my samsung has a 2ms I believe).

The colors popping in the games and the clarity at 1600p make this a great purchase. I thought my Samsung had nice color and clarity, but I am now an IPS believer. Highly recommended!
