Small update:
Grill has been bent to shape, still trying to find a match with the powdercoat, might get it coated and if isn't close enough will airbrush over the top, anyone got any other ideas. Problem is i'm in australia, and the case coating is from europe/slovenia? so manufacturer match will be too hard/expensive.
Here are some photos of the test fit, plenty of space, won't be that hard to connect the rads either which is nice. and the port at the bottom of the front 360, can be used for a drain port out the back side.
Also a coupe of pictures of the latest purchace, got another mp35x and a dual top which will sit close to the photo. Also got some mayhems green pastel for the coolant.

Actually looking at this last picture has decided it for me. The way LD makes the top grill it has a thicker edge towards the back of the case and can't be orientated the other way. I dont like the idea or look of swapping the rad orientation, so i'm going to flip the grill and drill some new holes/press in my own self-clinching nuts, which should move the top rad about 1-2cm towards the rear of the case, allowing easier bending for the rad - rad tube.

i know it might not be what you want to hear, but the front looks good as is, i would change the colour of the drive bays, and the top grill to all match, just makes it stand out but in a good way.

The build it still progressing, a little slow perhaps but i can't complain about whats been keeping me busy.
I found a similar powder-coating to the case and have 4 kg of it sitting next to me, which will get coated on the grill and a couple of other shrouds that i will make up later this week, should be done by next weekend and be in the case.
Bought some sleeving from Lutro0's customs, which took a while to arrive and when it did the green sleeve was yellow. I send a email to him and the customer service was great and they're sending it out to me soon enough. So i got down to sleeving some of the fans in the meantime. Which i think turned out well for my first time.

Some changes to the hardware, i managed to get a Sniper 3, which fits the case perfectly and will allow me to drop the sound card to the lowest slot and gives plenty of room for crossfire and maybe tri-fire later on.
This is how close the top rad fits in, the fan connectors are pretty much touching the rad (just the little plastic tab bit of them). There is a good amount of room to get the CPU power cables in as well which I think will look good in the end.

I also flipped the top radiator grill and drilled and press fit new self clinching nuts, so it all looks factory installed. The extra 10-20mm gained at the front of the case from one rad to the next is going to make tubing runs much easier, so was worth the hassle.

And i got a couple of new cards, looking to get the Aquacomputer waterblocks for them when an Australian retailer grabs them. I'll email The Koolroom later this week find out if theyre getting them and when. Might go with the nickel plated ones, i dont think the copper would fit this build and colour scheme.

Thinking about putting the old 2600k in a ITX build im going to do after this one, and replacing with a 3770k instead. Just need to find one, or buy one on ebay. Anyone think this is a bad idea?

i do like a close fit!

as for the cpu, if its a gaming machine the cpu isnt going to do much

I thought the PCIe 3.0 might be needed since the 290's use that bandwidth for crossfire. And 2600k doesn't enable it from what I understand. Either way I can always put the 3770k in the itx instead

Only a small update, still haven't had the front grill powder coated i'll get onto in in January i haven't had time to drop it off.
Got all the sleeving delivered, have only sleeved the front panel connectors so far. Work was busy with overtime just haven't had time to do anything more.

I think the Lutro green sleeve matches the board reasonably well. Try to ignore the long mess of cables i extended them so that they can be fixed to the back in neat clean lines when i get the rest done. And the USB 3 twin cable is wrapped in shrink, looks ok not sure if i'll keep it.
This is how the 24pin will look once i get around to it in the coming weeks. Although i might try do it heatshrinkless.

I also drilled and filed this blank plate, to replace the front of my NZXT sentry fan controller. will put some pics of that in later I'm not 100% happy with the look of it in the case.

And the water blocks and back plates are here, but wont go on until the front grill is done and the 2nd rad goes in, and pipes can be then finalized and fitted.

I'm moving house again on the 17th of Jan so might have more done either before or after, we'll see how that works out.
I actually have another build on the go i bought a NCASE M1 in silver for my girlfriend, and have got 80% of the parts for it installed so i'll share a pic of that later if anyone's interested.
