considering the fact that you can get many 7970s for around the same price already and some for even $350 on sale (something this 770 won't have for awhile) it doesn't compute. Even if it's running that insane 7GHz stock ram it's thin 256bit bus is still slower than a radeon at 5.5Ghz with its 384 bit bus. Then there is the 2GB vram vs 3GB vram.
But hey this is just the usual new card hype, eventually it will die down and it will be clear why the 7970 is the card to get.
Please don't take my posts the wrong way. I like this card more then any card Nvidia has released this year, it's actually going to make the GPU market interesting again with it's competitive pricing and i like that. My opinions are not meant to make this thing look like a bad card at all, in fact it's a great card... i just think there are better options out there.Edited by th3illusiveman - 5/30/13 at 7:47am
