Looking at upgrading my GTX 580 for 1080p. The 770 looks like the way to go? Or hold out for Raedeon?

He's most likely going to be waiting until either Aug through October or next year for AMD.

Where the heck can you purchase the reference model of the GTX 770? Am I just not looking in the right place or is it not being sold? I love the look of the reference model.

i love the fact that graphics cards have improved by 40-60% in the last six months but the XBox One is getting a 7700 series card....

I might switch to 1440p 1 screen in a while, i don't know.

That's highly likely. Although, I did read that AMD was thinking Q3 release?

To be honest, I'd get much more use out of the GPU if I bought it now. Not have classes after work would be fun. Anyways, I'll think about it.

Could always switch to 1440 and grab a 780 if I'm feeling fun.

Edit. Friend did just pick up the 7950 by my suggestion, and I'm kinda thinking if I upgrade that would be the way to go.

The only vendor that sells them is Inno3D, and they're Europe only.
