I know exactly how bad it is.
I have a Titan and I am running at 75% of 4k resolution, with 3x 1920x1080 displays in portrait surround.
I assure you, you need at least two Titans, or equivalent, to run that resolution at 30 fps in new
games. Crysis 3, Metro LL, Tomb Raider, all the stuff that came out fairly recently is going to require at least 50% more power than my 1 titan - because 1 Titan isn't enough for my resolution, let alone 4k. I don't have crysis 3, but crysis 1 with only 2x AA runs at 38-50 fps. And that game is... how many years old?
You will likely need, at absolute minimum, the power of 2x SLI 670s.
And you should be aware that this screen, and any others coming from asus, had best not be limited to 30 hz. They should know none of their customers will put up with that for desktop use. This screen, and the 39", are supposed to be capable of 60hz refresh.
30hz is sluggish even at the desktop, let alone while gaming.
