Decided on Mini ITX - Should I still wait for haswell?

Thread Starter
So really since I'm gonna use this machine as my primary machine, for gaming, music, backing up my media collection etc.. I've decided to get the best system my budget will allow. I'm going to spend up to $2000, thats my budget and I don't plan on skimping because it's a mini itx. I prefer the design and space of a mini itx as my storage needs aren't great and I don't overclock either.

I'm ready to start building it right now, however my desire to get back into borderlands can wait until haswell. Now my question, how long till we start seeing haswell mini itx boards. and is there going to be an improvement? If there's not, I may as well jst go ahead and throw an ivy system together. I've just got adsl 2 so my download speeds are quite good, and after having internet for so long, being able to finally download all the games I want will be amazing.

I understand that it's a completely new process with Haswell, and main improvements that are significant are the improved integrated graphics and better utilisation of power.

ASUS Z87i-Deluxe M-ITX

is this it?

" Interestingly, Asus will also be launching a mini-ITX motherboard with the Z87I-Deluxe which purports to offer “best-in-class options, design and performance”."

this is what I would be getting if I were building the small form factor PC I want but don't need and cant afford.

*edit im not sure but its probably coming out at haswell launch I think since they already showcased them, but im not familiar with how all this hardware release stuff works.
