A10-5800K Crossfire with 6670 -- Is it worth it?

Hello.

So for Christmas this past year, I built my girlfriend a new computer (BitFenix Prodigy, ASRock FM2A75M-ITX, 120GB SSD, 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM, A10-5800K) primarily for school, web surfing, photoshop and lightroom. For the most part, it does great for what she needs. We weren't playing any games at the time that I built this PC for her, but we recently started playing TERA Rising. Her PC doesn't decent, but she wants it to be better. She currently has a 24" monitor running at 1280x1024, and I am looking to add a video card. My first thought (and original plan when speccing this PC) was to buy a HD6670 and Crossfire that with the APU.

For $70 (after MIR), it's not an expensive upgrade, but what kind of performance can I expect to see from it? Is it worth the upgrade? Should I spend a few dollars more and buy a 7770 instead? Primary concerns are graphics when playing Tera Rising and photo editing with Lightroom and Photoshop.

Thanks!

Here's a good read for you. http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/cpu/46157-amd-a10-5800k-dual-graphics-evaluation/
In short if the game makes use of crossfire you can see big improvements, if not the 6670 is still going to do a bit better than the integrated. Though at the resolution you were talking about its probably not going to make quite the same difference.

Depending on the cost of a 7700 though its probably the safest bet for increased performance.
