Hi EK_tiborrr, after this friday, do you know the next day you guys will restock it? Because i plan on making my first rig as soon as possible after school finishes. I will probably have to preorder the 780 SC ACX now lol as its like a month wait on amazon.

Hi again Niko...

I have one more question for you.

I am looking to get this connector for my SLi setup but wanted to know if you guys have any plans to bring a Plexi (clean - CSQ) one to market to match my VGA Blocks I asked you about earlier in this thread?

Thanks again for all your help.

Hi there,

clean plexi bridge is in the works, we are working hard to achieve the best surface machining on the inside of the channels. Because of the shear depth of the channels it is very hard to maintain good looking internal surface.

We have made some customized drilling bits with cooling vents that can do the job but we must try them out more. With satin finish all the imperfections in the long shaft are hidden by the opacity of the surface.

Sounds good... I will go ahead and get the Black Connector for now and change it out when the Plexi's become avaliable.

Another question... smile.gif

I have 2 GTX 780's and was planning on picking up 2 of the Titan Plexi Blocks we discussed earlier BUT wanted to know if you guys are planning on producing the same block with GTX 780 engraved in the surface instead of TITAN. If not, I will go ahead and pick the TITAN Blocks up hopefully today (Friday) since you said there will be a few now and more Monday. If you guys plan on making the same block with the GTX 780 label than I will wait for those.

Also, same question for the Backplates as well.

Thanks...

The EK-FC Titan SE water block will come only with "LC Solution .... FC Titan SE" engraving but the EK-FC Titan SE backplate (which will fit both EK-FC770 GTX as well as EK-FC Titan SE) will come with official "Nvidia GeForce GTX" engraving.

Thanks Niko....Just to clarify so I don't misunderstand there will NOT be a GTX 780 Choice in ANY of your Full Length Blocks including the XXL Edition w/Backplate Included Correct?

What is the difference between the SE and XXL besides the Backplate Included with the XXL?
If I had to guess I would say nothing is different with the Blocks but the Backplate is included with the XXL. I had to ask because I was wondering why the XXL did not have the SE included in the name.

Do you have any idea when the GTX 780 Backplates will be released?

Thanks again for answering all my questions bud!!

Hey there,

let's try to explain this once again, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt smile.gif: http://www.ekwb.com/news/350/19/Existing-EK-FC-Titan-compatible-with-GeForce-GTX-780/

1) So, the original EK-FC Titan series water blocks (which are the water blocks for GTX Titan & GTX 780 graphics cards) are being slowly phased out.
2) The EK-FC Titan SE series water blocks will replace those. They will be backwards compatible with older EK-FC Titan water blocks both in terms of graphics card compatibility as well as in terms of water black compatibility (it will be possible to pair up older EK-FC Titan to EK-FC Titan SE).
3) The EK-FC Titan XXL 'bundle' will have no successors as now are EK-FC Titan SE series water block will feature full-lenght top which will cover the whole lenght of the PCB
4) There is a new backplate coming out, the EK-FC Titan SE Backplate - Black. This one will be compatible with the EK-FC Titan SE as well as EK-FC770 GTX but not the old EK-FC Titan. Well, in theory you could use it on the original water block but you would have to use some longer countersunk screws, washer and M3 nuts to complete the installation.
5) The EK-FC Titan SE Backplate will have Nvidia GeForce GTX logo engraved instead of our standard labeling.

First Backplates should be available on Tuesday.

Even though the EK Titan will fit the gtx 780, will it work with the GTX 780 SC with ACX cooler? Or I may wait for the GTX 780 SC Hydrocopper then.

Yes both the ACX and the reference blower style coolers use Nvidia's reference pcbs. So any gtx titan block should work. I know the ek-fc titan works mine is installed and so far haven't seen temperatures above 36C. thumb.gif

Yes, please see here: http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/step1_complist?gpu_gpus=1044

I'd highly recommend Cooling Configurator for all compatibility question. We have all the cards listed more or less on the day or release.
