$3000 for 3D / Motion Graphics? - Page 10

I like that case much better myself. Simple and clean are my preferences now. I would love at the NXZT Switch 810 as well.

As far as the adapter I am talking about the motherboard connections to a power supply. Most single socket motherboards only need a 24 pin connection and then one 8 pin connector. The dual socket motherboards generally require a 24 pin and two 8 pin connections especially the higher wattage CPUs. They are normally labeled as SSI/EPS power supplies.

Off the top of my head these are decent buys.

EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438007
Rosewill FORTRESS-750 750W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182084
SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM 750W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151107
SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151088

This is most I could narrow it down on Newegg. You still have to check and make sure it has two 8 pin ATX/EPS connections. I am not a power supply guru so there are likely better ones to recommend.

My sig rig psu Can run 2 cpu's easily but it is overkill for ur wattage need, I mean u don't need 1000w for ur station
XFX 1050w Gold , It have 1x(6+2 pin)"cpu connecter and 1x(4+4pin)cpu connector. So it can easily have the connectors u need also regarding ports on the psu itself it have 2

At the top right corner there
PCIE/CPU
Bottom right corner
CPU
Click spoiler to see the pics
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

here is the list from official website
http://products.xfxforce.com/en-us/Power_Supply/Pro_Series_1050W_PSU/P1-1050-BEFX

Cable Connectors
Modular 6+2-pin PCI-E : 6
Modular ATX12V / EPS12V : One 4+4-pin, One EPS 12V 8-pin
Modular FDD : Up to 2 Connectors (Y Connector)
Modular Motherboard Connector : 20+4-pin
Modular Peripheral : Up to 8 Connectors
Modular SATA : Up to 11 Connectors

worst case u dont need to buy any adapters instead go buy 1 more cable , ye maybe sleeved cable or what ever just buy 1 cable for Cpu u can even find same cables ppl sell from damaged psu or refurbished etc.. u can find same cables that come with the psu the original one's so u just can go and buy 1 more cpu

finally check the youtube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0M3NnyKqqHI

So u have to do same thing with any psu u want to buy to be sure and can check on newegg website the photos they have high rez u can zoom to check it out
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207021&Tpk=xfx%201050W&IsVirtualParent=1

Regarding the case I suggest HAF X cooler master not the 932, don't try to buy the smallest case that the build will fit coz u will find that size really help specially in future upgrade and in airflow

Haha...Yea it is earlier...or late not sure yet. Either way should be asleep. I lost the battle with seeing B and not a G, the AC ripple on the +3.3V and +5VSB isn't the best on the G either but much better than the B overall.

I agree that the Rosewill is the best on that short list. Still I'm not a power supply guru, I figured you'd be around to recommend one before long.

Same speed and timings though as the Kingston and are non-ECC. These boards are picky about RAM in the first place and will likely never be overclocked. That is a good price on a 32 gb kit though. Newegg?
