Bottlenecking

Hello,
I have an AMD A8-3820 APU that is overclocked to 3.6 GHZ, and I am going to get a 7870 Thati LE, so my question here is how much will that bottleneck. If it is a major bottleneck, I would like to know which processor i should get then, but I don't want to spend too much.
Thanks,
Andrew

that seems borderline , I would overclock it. Your going to bottleneck at lower resolution on games, and games that are CPU dependent. I would look into overclock your current CPU so you don't have to spend anything for that. Then maybe look up charts of performance for the 7870 and see what test builds are used.

As I said, i overclocked it from 2.6 to 3.6 ghz, and I run games at 1440 x 900, which is the max for my monitor.

I was wondering if the AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition would be good also?
