I seriously doubt that AMD will be as generous with their game bundles when the 89xx comes out, as they really kill their per-card margins.

The only reason that they're giving away so many games with their cards right now is that it's the only way to entice gamers to buy their hardware at the moment (since they don't have any new hardware on the short/mid-term horizon). Even that's not working too well, as their market share has been hovering around 35% the last three quarters (i.e. nine months).

It's far more likely that they'll offer at most one AAA title for their launch bundle.

as you are still on 775 I'd suggest you wait for a HD8970 and a 6-core IB-E cpu. They are supposed to be released Q3 too.
That way you would be up to date all the way.

An AMD executive said they'll be offering their bundles for the 8000 series as well, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs among others.

And no, they are better than Nvidia's offering at their respective price points (the 7990 vs the GTX 690 and the Titan is debatable) some people just prefer Nvidia cards so they go for that, if you're someone who wants the best performance and value for money you'd go AMD.

edit: even my hd7770 plays all games my hd7970 can at that rez smoothly and looks just as good. the latter is for my obsession for 4msaa.biggrin.gif

btw, bought me a 7970 for $364 and a hd7770 for $85. Got 5 games with both.

I'm happy for you. $85 you lucky greedy B@stard! 5 games? God that should be freaking cheating. So if I use FXAA/SMAA only, should the 7770 serve temporarily 1080p needs (for not-so-hungry GPU games like, for example old games?) Thanks man!!

Overprice? You are willing to put the same cash for a 7950 xfire setup with issues out of the box and that's ok.... good for you! Not enough vram? 7950 come as 6gb? Last time i checked gtx 780 has the same 3gb a 7950 has..... and crossfire does not equal 6gb...... wait? Sure keep waiting on something based on leaks and rumors and nobody know anything for sure, by that logic people will never upgrade and just keep waiting, while you wait most people will be having a great gaming experience with solutions that work, and when new tech arrives well that will be old news already regardless of brand, that's how tech industry works, but getting working solutions even if i pay a bit more is well worht it. And btw i dropped both 7970 and 7950 xfire setups both with issues.... just saying thumb.gif

if the never settle reloaded bundle is still in effect I say 2 7950s if not get a 670 or 770

Yeah. I buy at a local store where the bundle is off anyways. I am kinda dissapointed because the 770 is a rebranded 680 just with faster memory. I'll wait till the 8950, get 2 of those or 2 of the GTX 770. Thanks guys! I am open for suggestions! Thanks!

Man...... thats an easy choice - At least it was for me:D

1) Buy HD7950 Crossfire now

2) Get the game bundles (when you buy 2 cards you get 2 bundles - I got that myself).

3) Sell the game bundles to your mates and make some money.

4) Keep the HD7950 crossfire which have awesome gpu power for the games today - you wont be dissapointed.

5) When the HD8000 comes out you can sell off you HD7950's and upgrade tothe HD8000.

PS:
Acutally for gaming on 1920x1080 you can stick to one HD7950 only because your cpu cannot feed 2 gpus enough to run 100% - my I5 2500K OC to 4.8 ghz runs 90% and my HD7950 OC to 1100 mhz only gets to 65% max usage on 120 hz 1920x1080........... SLI and Crossfire is only for multi-monitor set ups ( and yes..... I got crossfire because I always buy more than I need............)

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_770_sli_review,24.html

QOUTE from above test:
Our recommendation as such is simple, with a single monitor setup like 1920x1080/1200 your maximum number of GTX 770 cards should be a maximum of one.

PPS: I have had 0 issues with my crossfire setup - Am I lucky? - No.... I dont think so - many people have crossfire without problems..... but they never post - only people with crossfire problems post which make the discussion about crossfire vs. no crossfire a bit blurred imo.
