Hi,

I have two 7950's in crossfire mode. They are currently at voltage 1150, core 1100 and memory 1500. For some reason i get a very heavy lag or freezing when playing battlefield 3 multilayer on 64 man server. When there is alot of smoke etc. My CPU is at 4.6ghz, i have tried everything to get it smooth gameplay, but i have been unsuccessful. Settings are set to low, only thing high is mesh and shadow quality. Example Seine Crossing, Metro outside, those maps are the one i notice it. I will need to try other games. At stock clocks, its doing the same thing as well. Someone help

Reinstall drivers with driver sweeper (or something like that) and try.

Done that already, on 13.6 drivers with cap1. I am not able to figure out this issue.

Lower your clocks and raise voltage some and report back

This was happening to me before. Do you have any temp reading programs running? That was my problem. Anyway If you have the room your best bet is install a 2nd windows partition. Then run everything at stock. Nothing but drivers and non-aero windows and some testing apps. No overclocks on the gpu or cpu. Then if the problem is gone you can work your way back up.

One of three things, either Card does not have enough voltage or overclock is too high and its heating up too much. Driver issue with current driver perhaps roll back to another version, or link cable is loose or not working, check cable between cards.
