Varies per CPU. That is the art if overclocking.

You increase frequency till the point it becomes unstable and increase volts to make it switch faster and enhance stability. You'll find that the first 500MHz or so are easily gained, but after that it scales worse and becomes unstable faster. You'll want to keep temps below 70-75*C at load and volts below 1.4-1.45V for 24/7 use.

Lower temps and volts keep your chip alive longer. I'd stop around 1.4V if you want to play safe and increase the frequency as far as possible until it becomes unstable (watch the temps).

Read up some guides first though.

max freq will be one of 2 things.

1. The max you can get on a set voltage, say stock.

2. The max you can get stable while staying below 1.5ish Volts or 70*C (good number to shoot for. It CAN go higher, but don't try that if you value the life of your CPU).
