Sorry, but I'm not that dumb. I live in India so the model in your country must be different.

Sorry for the bad quality, taken from my iPod Touch 4th gen.

Upgrade to 8GB RAM. Invest in a laptop cooler -- I know firsthand how hot these Aspire laptops get when pushing games and heat can drastically reduce framerate. Update GeForce driver to latest and go into Control Panel and change graphical settings to High Performance.

That's about all you can do to ensure gaming is as smooth as possible.

A few things you could try:

* MSI afterburner
* Manually adjusting your ram clocks and timings
* Run Game Booster v3.0
* Download Process Lasso 6.0.2.44 and add the games you wish to play under: CPU automation > Configure default cpu priorities > set to real time.
* Close any other applications you don't need running, such as Fraps, Mumble, Java updaters etc.
* Set your page file to at least 3gb to 5gb. You shouldn't need to take it any higher than 6gb max.

Hope this helps.

2GB of RAM and 1GB is going towards video? An upgrade to at least 4GB will improve things a lot, if you can afford it I would go with 8GB.

Yes, I am upgrading to 8GB 1600 MHz. I see what you mean, this 2GB RAM must be a serious bottleneck for my system.

like others said.. your RAM is slowing you down.. windows can utilize easily over one gigabyte so
theres poor performance left.. you dont need 8gb ram ..like others mentioned.

for windows 7 you should have 4gb ram.. you will have around 2.7 - 3gb free ram this will be enough
for you to get a smooth feeling again.

hope this helps.. some guys here are very nice and wise people.. others just speak before thinking

have a nice day (;
