Yeah, those color anomalies you're describing are artifacts.
I don't know if this is how you've gone about it already, but always overclock the memory and core seperately so you can pinpoint the cause of instability.
Yeah, I want more performance out of them but I know that the temps are at their limit so I won't push any further. I um.... OC'd both at once, but I just dropped the memory clocks down a bit back to where they were when I was certain it was stable.
Oh and, I would water cool, but I have no idea how to set up or maintain so I'd rather not take the risk... Nor do I know anyone who does
EDIT: Ok, I dropped 10mhz off the Memory clock and my temps dropped considerably.
Is this a lot better?
