Corsair ax850 issues! Help!

Hey guys so i turned off my PC two days ago for about four hours and then turned it back on when i got home and after about 4 secs the psu went into safe mode. I thought it was just a glitch so i reset it by doing the whole unplug and plug back in thing and still same result.

I removed everything off the psu and ran it just by itself it and worked fine. Once i added a few things it worked as well. But as soon as i add my ssd or anything else it trips into safety mode. Idk whats up with it. I feel like the Rail is dieing. The psu is about a year old which is why this is puzzling me.

I did have the psu turn off on me a few times randomly and the infamous high pitch whining noise that corsair is famous for. Everytime you move your mouse you can hear it whine a little louder.

Any help? I rather try fix this because im moving and money is tight right now to buy a new one. If i need to by a new one can you recommend me a good one just like the AX850. I was looking at the XFX ones which evga makes right?

Any suggestion is helpful, thanks in advance!

XFX PSU´s are made by Seasonic not EVGA

Dont buy any of the EVGA PSU´s only good one is the SuperNova G2

You got tons of options

This, since its only a year old its under warranty. Just contact the place you bought it for a possible replacement. AX series is a very high quality psu, you just got unlucky i guess.

ya I forgot I have a seven year warranty on it so I will just have it sent out. found out that corsair will send you a replacement until your RMA one is fixed! god I love these people!

I'm stilled baffled to what is causing the power supply to short and enter protection mode. since its the weekend I'll just do some more trouble shooting till I send it out.
