Is this really a five page thread about people oohing and aahing about Acer making an AIO with Android/intel?

"Betraying Microsoft"?

Acer have been one of THE BIGGEST supporters, creators and innovators in Windows 8 machines for the past half year.

Only Asus and Lenovo have compared, which is actually a pretty good group for Acer to find themselves in after what their reputation was previously.

Their Iconia w510/w700 have been well reviewed all around despite some hiccups.

They only JUST released the R7.

They are about to refresh their V3/V5 line with touchscreens.

They are going to be releasing an 8 inch Windows 8 tablet later on in the year, one of the FIRST Windows OEMs to make the statement.

But they are releasing an Android AIO with an intel CPU in it, therefore becoming betrayers of all betrayers, according to sensationalist headline creators, not Microsoft.

And people are eating it all up rolleyes.gif

The sky is falling. Run away. Run away.

That's still not enough RAM. I'd rather have a cheapo AMD APU with 4GB of RAM... Or just an ubuntu laptop.

Never said it was wink.gif I just said that it had Haswell, so it was probably worth around that.
