How is that TDP fake? FX-8350 reaches around that when OC'd high. This is the Centurion IIRC.

Pretty interesting if it is actually true, but shouldn't this be in the rumors and unconfirmed articles section? On another note, I wonder how well these are going to overclock considering they are going to be at a base of 4.8 to begin with, most likely on air cooling none-the-less.

Are these just better binned 'creme de la creme' of all FX - 8350's?

Ok, I amend my previous statement... Not fake, but baaaaaad idea. The cooling that'll be required for these CPU will be nothing less than a full on closed water cooling loop. Not only that, but the projected price will be around $800 US.

Who would buy a CPU that requires massive cooling, a HUGE power hog, and a MASSIVE price tag for a CPU from a company that prides itself on price/performance??

I highly doubt they would be releasing the chip if it required a custom water cooling loop from the start, let alone that price.

They would more than likely package it with their OEM closed loop like they have before.

These are supposed to sell for $500 each too. They must include a custom high end cooling system. I'm guessing the 5.0 Ghz speed is a turbo mode when only one core is at full load.

I don't know how this new 5ghz worth 500 bucks. I need to see someone benchmarking their 5ghz FX-8350. Benchmark or it didn't happen.
