The only AIB partner that I know of that offers the Titan-style 770 is Inno3D, which doesn't sell in the US market. However, I did find a listing for them at the web shop of Overclockers UK.

Note that EVGA claims that their blower-type 770 has the same internal cooling apparatus as the Titan-style 770, but with a different (and likely less-expensive) outer shroud.

My theory is that since NVIDIA set such an "aggressive" MSRP of $399 on the 770, AIB partners couldn't afford to have the Titan-style shroud at that price and still keep their margins.

Even EVGA's lowest-cost 770 (the base model 02G-P4-2770-KR) was priced at $409.99, which is $11 over MSRP. EVGA almost always has at least one model at MSRP at launch, so I'm sure that even they were feeling the pinch with the 770's MSRP.

GTX 770 "Reference" Cards
Editor's Note: As we mentioned in the recent GTX 780 review, reference design cards will be short-lived. Approximately only 10,000 units were to be sold worldwide over a period of about a month. With the GTX 770, you will find little if any reference design cards for sale in normal retail channels. NVIDIA's AIC partners are ready and queued up to sell their own designs, as you might guess from it being so closely based on the GTX 680. So if you are planning on finding a GTX 770 with a "TITAN cooler," which will likely be a feat in itself, I would not count on paying MSRP for it.

That's 546 dollars you're better off just buying the 680 at those prices.... tongue.gif

True enough, but I was just giving the option. It's not my place to judge if it's "worth it" for someone to get that particular model w/ the Titan-style shroud or not.

Sorry I'm really bad at posting, I meant to say you're better off buying the 780GTX... And Svenge thanks for probably recognizing what I meant and not even pointing that out thumb.gif
