Help! MSI G45 Z77 motherboard keeps rebooting every 20 mins

Hi i have a friend with a MSI Z77 G45 motherboard and his computer reboots every 20 minutes or so... i read that lesser MSI boards will RARELY get this problem but it does happen.... i got him the G45 because he didnt need any overclocking but wanted to run SLI 560ti's. He has a 2500k and two 560ti's.

It is not his power supply because he replaced it with a brand new Corsair TX 750M. He says it randomly reboots every 20 minutes, he still gets normal power to fans; normal light still glows up on mobo at the top right.... so i feel like his system is intact except hes getting the random reboots?

I was thinking about RMA'ing his board; but he really cant deal with the downtime as he needs it everyday for his family so i was wondering if it was possible to do a BIOS flash or something? Something we could possibly do without having to completely remove his case components all over again and having to RMA the board itself....

Will REP anyone with some good advice! Is this board completely done for? This board has not been overclocked either, he has been running a 2500k at stock. No smell of burning or sign of physical wear..... so not exactly sure whats causing this?

What errors are you getting in event viewer, if any? It may not necessarily be the board, perhaps something with Windows. I would boot to memtest86+ (either burn a disc of it, put it on a bootable flash drive, or you can use Hiren's Boot Disk which includes it) and let it run overnight. This would test the memory which there is a small chance of that causing random reboots. If memory is bad just swap it out for another kit and RMA it. If the test runs overnight and doesn't reboot the computer, chances are it's not the motherboard or RAM causing the problem.

And yes flashing to latest BIOS would be a good idea, however I would be slightly scared to flash something with the chance of random reboots happening. Then you definitely brick the board. Other courses of troubleshooting, try a different power source- like a different surge suppressor or UPS or whatever. Also I would run Seatools long test to see if the hard drive is going bad.
