Than how about placing the rad on top of the outside of my case, and the fans on the inside?

Well i would see if i could do it the other way around... i would try and fit the rad in the case so i didnt have to drill out my case for tubing. Do you have a picture of the case with the mobo in it?

Well, the case has oenings at the back for watercooling tubes. Maybe I could fit them through there?
Here's a photo of the case with mobo AND top fans installed. You think a 30mm rad would not fit?

if you cant fit a spare fan to check clearance, no the rad wont fit. a fan is 25mm and the rad is 30mm.

You could mount the radiator on the back of the case.... i know the brackets that come with those xspc kits work pretty well for that so they must be some good solutions for it out there.
