Turn your GTX 680 in to a stock GTX 770 - Page 6

I really wish my GTX 680 could hit 1752mhz on mem without crashing/artifacting... Maybe I'll hardwire the mem voltage at some point and hope that I can get a few extra mhz.

For all those wondering, I'll switch the BIOS on one card back to a 680 and confirm if SLi is working, I'll post back here in 5 !

EDIT : One card on 680 BIOS and another on 770 BIOS, they work in SLi. Only potential issue here is if the ID of the card themselves, which would be different on an actual 770 would stop it, although it never created problems when people did the same thing with 9800GTX/GTS250

Can you link us to the BIOS you used that you have flashed?

A mismatched Board ID almost always means the wrong firmware image is being

Yep, that just pops up when you go to flash the card.

Dont you need a asus 770 bios then (cant find any)
Or does a nvidia reference card 770 bios also work on the asus gtx 680 top????
under the impression that he was going to use the ASUS 770 BIOS.
but in a general sense the GTX 6 series will run Boost 2.0 with a GTX 7 series flash.
So for the 680 on modded bios (unlocked voltage/power target) flashing to this 770 BIOS only benefits the GPU Boost 2.0, correct?

In that case, this would seem pointless for most 680 owners on air cooling....you'd get the same end result with a 680 modded bios...as in GPU boost 2.0 doesn't benefit you unless you run water/LN2.
