7870 Tahiti-Le Cards

Thread Starter
Hello
I was wondering which Tahiti card is the best.
I know there are multiple, like the sapphire XT, the Powercolor, and there is a Joker one.
Saying that they have the same performance, which one has the best cooling.
Thanks,
Andrew

The consensus is that the Sapphire version is the best one.

Sapphire version seems to run the coolest and overclock fairly well.
Mine works quite well smile.gif

You should just buy the cheapest one and strap 2x 90mm fans onto the heatsink.

Well, I ended up just getting the powercolor, it had a massive sale and the XT went off the market just today.

Sapphire blue pcb turned me off weirdsmiley.gif Go for club 3d card with black pcb and nice look.
Just how much cooler is it with two fans, and are you looking to run it on overclock all the time?
I reapply'd the thermal paste with some mx-4 and got a nice cooling performance boost. about 8-10 c less.thumb.gif
