Where in the world are you located?

Given your options, as far as bang for buck goes, I think you would be better off getting 2x 670's rather than a single 770. The 700 series is still pricey, and only has a minor improvement over the previous generation.

If I were you, I would look for 670's with non-reference coolers, e.g. the Twin Frozr III or ASUS DirectCU II twin-fan-style coolers. Much quieter, and much less heat. Will make video gaming a lot less noisy.

I am in Winnipeg and I got the EVGA GTX 780 ACX for 714.50 shipped all in from newegg. Not quite 750

You really wouldn't need to water cool the 670s since they already run on the cold side. Not to mention that water cooling isn't exactly cheap, either.

I would recommend gtx 780 and further down the road you can SLI thumb.gif

Honestly you're already going full balls with that system, so I would round it out with a 780. You'll have piece of mind regarding performance and the lack of potential multi-gpu issues. If you're gonna catch flak from the spouse over this build either way, make it count.

Waahaahaahaa! biggrin.gifthumb.gif Yeah, if I do that, then she's just going to go a retaliate with a cruise. And the cost of a cruise is higher than the computer will end up being, and only last a week or so. I have to tread very carefully in these waters! heheh! biggrin.gif

Update: the guy selling the 2 Gtx 670s decided to keep them. Them the spree sold the last 770. None in all of Ottawa... So I HAD to "settle" for the 780. Got the gigabyte one.
The guy at Canada Computers was pretty nice. Have me a few free games. They were all promotional for AMD products, but sinceIi was spending this much he felt like he should give me something.
