If youre dropping cores, then your clock isnt stable even if its not crashed on you during daily use.

I'll give that LLC a try then, after bumping the voltage up a bit Prime95 has had no problems so i guess its problem solved! I can't tell you how long its been going for, just that i've taken a hefty bit out of my bottle of scotch!

Try OCCT. Its my preferred stress tester. Has all the monitoring tools you need too.

I'll give it a shot!

BIOS Settings;
CPU Ratio: 20.0
Bus Speed: 200Mhz
PCIe: Auto
Memory Clock: 1866Mhz
CPU/NB: 2200Mhz
HT Link: 2200Mhz
CPU Spread Spectrum: Off
PCIe Spread Spectrum: Off
EPU: Off (of course)
CPU LLC: High
CPU/NB LLC: High
CPU Power Phase: Standard
CPU Voltage Frequency: Auto
CPU Power Duty Control: T.Probe
CPU/NB Voltage: Manual (Option of manual or offset)

And i thought i'd just mention that i've got 4Ghz with 1.30 VCORE, and HWMonitor says that under load i pull 1.260v, so i don't know if thats vdroop or what as i believe idle it pulls 1.248v.

Any help would be am-azing.

Bump HT Link and CPU/NB to 2600. One of them is supposed to be 2600, always forget which is which, i think HT link is it. And CPU/NB will normally be at 2200 if I'm remembering correctly. You will see noticeable gains from CPU/NB and HT Link being bumped to 2600. The gains will be seen when benchmarking, not really during normal use.

Interestingly, upping those two settings to 2600Mhz actually made my system hang at 1.350v. I'm on 4.2Ghz at the same now, but with LLC on CPU to Very High and the CPU/NB set to High or the other way round as setting any higher makes the system hang. Do you think i need to crank the Vcore more?
