Need to buy a 7xx card, selling me sli 580 WC cards

Thread Starter
Hi, I am wanting to find out which you think would be better spending the money to get 2 770 evga cards and stepup both with in the 90 days if nothing goes wrong, or getting 1 780 now and get another later down the road? I am scared of performance lost for having 770 vs the 580 sli, also what happens if I cant step up both. And with me selling my 2 gtx 580s with Heatkiller blocks and the water bridge thats for the blocks, along with a tri sli HK water bridge, stock aircooler etc for 575, I just dont want to step down in performance with the 770 and being stuck with them.

And trying to make sure I can order it when I order my new CPU and MB next weekend. so I dont have to set without a computer.

of the top of my head i would recommend the 780; it would be close to equal to 580 SLI @ stock. this is looking at the 580 is 65% of a 780 and how SLI scales . . .

i think the mantra is; get the best performing single card, then SLI later.
