I need some ideas for my case's looks.... - Page 2

lol wat u mean by sleeve??
wrap the cables in material or heatshrink or even electric tape. improves airflow.

I would recommend getting some better airflow in the front, eg install some mesh with a 120mm fan or two. Also make a 120mm blowhole in the top for a fan, this will improve case temps well as we all know hot air rises - so tat top fan will blow it all out rather tan having it stagnant at the top of the case.

Good luck with whatever you do

you wrap power supply cables in a cool looking material.

I just bought that case, getting it for xmas though...looks great! hows the noise level on the stock fans?

dude you want to mod your case start by modding some screws into your harddrive so it isnt just hanging there. and yes either sleeve or hide your cables by hide i mean run them all down the side of your drive mounts and zip tie them to the side. that case is pretty sweet i wouldnt screw with it to much.

yeah i wouldn't want to do much visually to that thing...maybe paint the inside of the case? Get a cool lighting scheme with cold cathodes/

the stock fan on the window was a little bit noisy when i first got it... but i would recomend taking off the NZXT logo and mesh so that more air can flow more easily... that seriously reduced noise down to a whisper compared to before on mine... the only thing i wish this case had was a stock controller for the fan speed on the window mounted fan...

Why is your hrddrive just sitting there restingon the bottom? Screw it into the drive bays!
Work on cable management, liek hide the cables behind the mobo tray or in an empty drive day. Gather sets of unused cables and zip tie them together.

the very front of the fan already has a sort of hidden place for a 120 or 140 mm fan... so i can just put one there... as for the top blow hole... i'm looking to do things taht dont require dremeling and sodering and stuff first... because that kinda a one time shot and if i mess up... its game over... so im gonna steer clear of those ideas for now but will defintly take it into consideration in the future...

lol ya I keep the hard drive like that cuz its actually quieter like this than if i were to keep it attached to the case... the vibrations and stuff resonate throughout the case if its attached... ya its kinda a polak thing to do but it works... lol

i'm also working on the cable management rite now... thats a major concern for me because its very ugly to see when i have it the way i do rite now... puting the wires behind the mobo wint wirk because they are way to big and i dont want to run the risk of cracking my mobo under the pressure... so i'll just run them along the non-visible parts of the case or down the sides of unused bays...

i'll post pics of my updates (before and after... lol) as i go along...
