Cooler Master QuickFire Rapid vs Steelseries 6gv2 - Durability of letters

Hi all
Please help me to chose between 2 keyboards
Primarily interested in the durability of letters
I use Rapid 1 day, and i think the paint on default WASD keycaps wears off quickly because i could easily damage the letters with nail
Please share the experience of using these keyboards and share WASD photos of your used SS and CM
Sorry for bad english

The Steelseries keyboard is known to have rapidly fading keys. For instance a mate of mine got his 7g after I got my QFR and his letters have faded into a brownish color.

And on you QFR?

A little bit, but nothing of concern. Because one of the joys of owning a mechanical keyboard is that you can later swap out the keycaps and have a blast customising it to your liking. thumb.gif

The red keycaps look gimmicky, so I dont use them. Kinda ironic though, because I have one of the earlier batches of the keyboard with a lot of branding. smile.gif Really, what you should ask yourself now is not which keyboard that fades the fastest, but numpad/tenkeyless and costar/cherry stabilizers.

The QFR uses Costar stabilisers, which are generally preferred because they aren't known for making the large keys feel "squishy".
