I call bull****! Argument being... Supreme Commander first 4 thread game...and it was TADADADA RTS ... tons of UNITs , much more then SC2.

Tech wise blizzard was never cutting edge.
MMO is not hard to code for multithread yet WOW was single thread for very long time (because it is heavily modded WC3 engine ... yes probably engine that was developed in laste 90s).
Blizzard wont invest into tech if they dont have to and they will always go on the proven stuff and iterate instead of revolutionize. At least in terms of tech.
