Just saying the brand has been tainted by the failure (I'm sure AMD people will agree) of bulldozer.
Right. I don't know where you pulled out "Tainting of FX" but i'm sure it's not your front
BD is not exactly a failure as much as Netburst is, which was a REAL failure and that Prescott was slower than Northwood.
Did the same thing happen as to BD? Nope. PD came out and IS giving a good fight to similarly priced chips
Unlike Northwood where the previous gen is actually a lot faster, BD is only little bit slower than Thuban
Also otherwise, BD isn't so much bloody slower than (I say slower i mean 30-50%
) Sandy Bridge as it was Northwood vs first round of K8
Those who are against MOAR CORES IZ BETTER is probably oblivious to the fact that when Intel came out with the Pentium D in Q2, 2005, everyone went, MULTI-CORE IZ THE FUTURE!
Now when AMD launches moar cores, many say the opposite. Why so ridiculous?Edited by DaveLT - 6/14/13 at 7:05pm
