Temperatures might not be too bad:

That's using a Megahalem heatsink and two Corsair AF120 fans, according to the owner of the pic.

Edit: Stock clocks running BF3 for 2 hours.

My PhenomII 955@4,1 ghz-1.45v, which is a 125w TDP turned 150w TDP old processor, using a Mugen 2 Rev.B with one low RPM Scythe fan barely scratches 45º on mildly hot days. 2 hours of BF3@stock clocks using a better cooling tower with 2 high RPM fans is ludicrous. thinking.gif

Saw that too lol. Though I've got a lot of respect for Elric, he's a cool guy and does bring up a valid point.

BTW, motherboard prices listed in the cheapest Spanish e-tailer(only Gigabyte H87/Z87 range for now):

http://www.pccomponentes.com/placas_base_intel_socket_1150.html

Gigabyte Z87X-OC 199€...that's cheap. An Asus P8Z77 Pro still cost near that. wink.gif

Gotta check if Ivy prices have dropped...nope. Still absurdily high mad.gif
