For those that upgrade every gen, this makes no sense (but neither does upgrading every gen) but for those with Nahelem Rig, it looks pretty damn good. Haswell also has better Usb 3 support and better memory support.
Why make it then? Haswell was given some glory hype by Intel feeders that it would be this and that well before it came out. I myself think they struggled to add power to a shrinking die size. How much longer can you add a cpu with a gpu and expect to get smaller and smaller without heat issues. I'm no scientist but there must be a law of no returns using the same materiel
