Comes in about £375 here, I thought that was bad then i found the OC Force for £450 and the UD7-TH listed at almost £500. Giga is having a laugh at those prices. Guess i'll go ASUS because they haven't got absurd prices and aren't charging absurd amounts over direct USD>GBP conversions unlike GB with +£120 :/

For shops in the states I'm not seeing the UD4 online anywhere, but Micro Center has it which in the Z87 flyer says its exclusive, so it might be a Micro Center only motherboard, or at least for the time being.

I guess they weren't joking about the Z87x-OC's aggressive price, its less than the Z87x-UD5.

Have you guys seen the Z87 EVGA lineup? The Z87 Classified looks awesome! They are saying 16x16 for SLI, I'm not that concerned about that spec but did find it interesting.

From a build standpoint eVGA looks awesome. Fact is through out the years eVGA has proven to be buggy and unreliable. They never fix the problems, ever! Case and point x79 is still a buggy mess, a year and half later. Go here and read this about evga boards.

X79 Bugs:
USB 3.0 functionality is unreliable and results in peripheral failure, system freezes/instability, and potential data corruption.
XMP v1.3 profiles are not fully supported resulting in system instability and failure to POST.
Intel C-States cause system freezes/instability within minutes of booting.
PCIE 3.0 not always recognized by the system as active for all PCIE 3.0 graphics cards.
CPU VCore Offset Volage setting does not function properly.

On a lighter note looks as giga leads the way. I expected and was hoping msi would do a better job. So now I have to make a decision? Asrock or Giga? HMmmmm.

Lets hope they turn things around. They sure did have a lot of issues with the x79, but iv had good and bad luck with single brands from one generation to another. I had a asus 680i striker extreme that was a load of crap yet the asus I have now has been a great board. To add to that a evga 750i ftw mobo I had was a great board also. I guess all im saying lets not curse them just yet. smile.gif

Wow, MSI Z87 XPOWER is sold out, out of stock at the moment. It shows you how the motherboard is very attractive apart from the amazing functionality. But its too expensive for a motherboard.
