Announcing the CaseLabs Mercury S5 mATX Case - Page 118

The S5 w/ pedestal is one of my favorite CL options, barely edging out the SMA8 and the TH10A.

I ordered a Mercury S5 last week. Gonna sit a X99 System in it, too. I ended up choosing the Asrock X99M Killer. I'm not the biggest fan of the black/red color combo, but the Board seems to be pretty awesome, if you can believe the reviews. Gonna get it tomorrow smile.gif Let's see which watercooling parts I will buy, so that I can get some good aesthetics with the Asrock Board wink.gif

Sweeet 😉 Without pedestal for me. smile.gif Did you already receive your S5? I ordered a black one, one week ago, still "awaiting fullfillment" let's see wink.gif
As I said, I'm not the biggest fan of black/red combo. So
let's see if I end up painting it new tongue.gif
I think I gonna use norprene tubing. Should look nice with the S5

No, I ordered two tone white/black last week still waiting also but in no hurry since my 32gb of DDR4 is still a month out also. I have an idea for my color scheme so the red wont be the main color to the system so it should be ok.

Looks like Demciflex dust filters will be my best option for a clean low profile solution.

This will be an air cooled build using a Asus Maximus Gene vi and Intel 4770K.I sold my 780 Lighting about 2 months ago but have not seen anything that excites me yet from Haswell.I will be patiently awaiting for another ROG card from Asus to match the red black theme.

I am coming from a Silverstone FT03 which was my favorite and most unique build yet. I needed something where I can display my internals better while avoiding a typical vertical mobo placement. The S8 is simply perfect and offers the best build quality in the industry so it was a no brainer!

I still question the quality of Asrock boards. To me they were always a budget brand. But things do change, I am just hoping that Gigabyte or Asus comes out with a board. I did find some info online about the Gigabyte X99M-Gaming 5 X99 mATX board. I am hoping it will be out in the not so distant future. Looks to be loaded up with a lot of features also.

Is it possible to run a dual-bay reservoir in the front with at least 1 or 2 120/140mm fans? Also I am hoping I can fit two Alphacool NeXxsos UT60 120.3's in the pedestal. Just a push configuration would be fine, I doubt a push/pull would fit anyways.

If the Asrock board is bad I will just buy another one, no big deal...

and the UT60's will fit in push/pull in the Pedestal it is 308mm wide
