Thanks. Your comment is quite fitting as I just got married 3 weeks ago.
I'm quite lucky though as my wife is a gamer herself and I just recently build a brand new computer for her. I planned this build ahead so I got some wife-credits to spend.
I've decided on a Noctua themed build. I know the color isn't very popular but I think it could look pretty cool. The only thing I'm sure of is that the case will be a Mercury S5 which I will have custom painted to fit the scheme. I'll need some advice as to if two 280's is enough radiators for the CPU and dual 780's. As far as I have read I can fit a 60+mm 280 rad in P/P in the front and a thinner 280 rad in the roof in P only. I also need to be able to fit an aquaero 6 in the top bay. The other option is to go for the pedestal as well. This way I can get more rads and go for the windowed roof to show off the build better. On the other had though the original plan was to make it rather compact...
Ah, congrats on the marriage!
The rule of thumb, that I've always gone by, at least, is 240mm rad at the very least for a CPU/GPU loop, then above and beyond that add an additional 120mm fan/rad spot for anything else. So, for two 780's and a CPU I would at least go with 4x 120mm fans worth of radiator. I wouldn't recommend 120mm radiators, as they really don't cool that efficiently, however 2x 240mm radiators should get you where you need to be
